Minimum Qualification:
B.Sc. Engineering / B. Tech. or its equivalent examination in the relevant branch of study with not less than 60% marks in the aggregate or its equivalent CPI / CGPA / NAG.

Course of Study: M. Tech. Computer Science and Technology
Specialization Software Engineering
Duration: 4 Semesters ( 2 years )
Intake: 16

Minimum Qualification:  B. Tech. or its equivalent examination in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering Or their equivalent branch of study with not less than 65% marks in the aggregate or its equivalent CPI / CGPA / NAG (CPI of 6.5 in 10 point scale).

Course of Study: M.Tech. (Nanotechnology)
Duration: 4 Semesters (2 Years)
Intake: 10

Minimum Qualification: B. Tech. or its equivalent examination in any branch of Engineering with not less than 65% in the aggregate or its equivalent CPI / CGPA / NAG (CPI of 6.5 in 10 point scale).

Candidates belonging to Mechanical, Chemical, Petrochemical, Metallurgy, Mining and Agricultural Engineering branches are also eligible for admission to M. Tech. (Environmental Engineering) Civil in which 50% of the seats are reserved for           B. Tech. (Civil) graduates and the remaining 50% seats are open to candidates from other branches of Engineering mentioned above. If seats remain vacant these may be offered to the candidates from Civil Engineering.

Selection Procedure: There shall be an objective type Departmental Test to be conducted by the Chairman, of the department concerned. Candidates are advised to reach Aligarh to appear at the Test on the given date and time. No separate Intimation letters to attend the Test will be sent to candidates concerned. For further details the candidates may contact the Chairman of the Department of Studies concerned.

The Final List of the selected candidates including waiting list shall be determined on the basis of overall merit based on the following two components:

1. Performance in GATE                      -   100 marks                 

2. Performance in Departmental Test   -   100 marks
